a foggy day. fog is my favorite. I lived in Maine for a while, right on the coast, and when the fog came you could watch the house across the street slowly disapear. This was the best time to go to the beach especially with the tide out. No one was around. you couldn't see anything to mark your place. there were no landmarks - all you could see was the surface on which you walked and the sound of the breakers hitting the sand bounced off the fog and furthered your sense of disorientation. I loved it. I use to take a glass of tea and a book down there and I had the whole to place to myself.

We got snow here in the north-east of the U.K. the right time of the year for it to.
I could go to the beach and it would probably be deserted also, but it would be fucking freezing.
So no.
