I got some tomato wild rice soup on the stove. It's seriously the best soup ever and goes well with the chilled grey sky and wind that is the weather today. It's homemade soup, by the way. Canned soup is a waste of time and money. I also bought a supply of carrots, apples, and beets so I can make my favorite juice all week....

When I was a dancer none of the girls had health insurance. Except for me. Through my father's farm co-op. I owned part of the farm so I was eligible. It always amaxed me how women who were making a fair amount of money couldn't afford basic medical care. It was really sad. Something really does need to change.
