Woke up 5am dehydrated and bored. Its now 9am
Drinking last night at a partially pretentious show. Militant Children's hour (a one man band) was awesome, followed by an anally retentive wanna be jazzbo/math/krautrocky band (I ferget the name) I felt myself falling into a bored zoned out sleep like I was on junk (I was not nor do I). Not to endorse but some of these bands need to experiment with hallucinogens if there gonna try to emulate it. Im tired as well of seeing bands try to emulate specific genres whether it be Electroclash or Punk rock, stoner rock or 80's metal etc (mix it all up dammit, create something new, creative and viable). Since were currently looking @ an 80's resurgence the half cocked 90s are just around the corner (blech). Once again being manned by folk who were too young to remember what was bad music in the first place and who embrace it for a detached kitsch factor (never thought id say it but its not you kids and your music but You kids and the music thinly executed and emulated of another bored uninspired generation) Revolution dammit find the voices of
yourselves .My mind starts clicking like I downed six cupsa coffee and will not allow immediate sleep alas I am here still writing out in the neither space. Perhaps the sleeping pills el kik in soon
I was bummed to hear Don Knotts died followed by the news that Darren MeGaven (Night Stalker and the X Mass Story dad) passed away last sunday. Needless to say I think in leu of Mr Knotts passing he will replace Jimmy (JJ) Walker on our website. In case ya missed the last Journal I posted for your vote here it is
Perhaps a Sui-peep can help with a non tech web q. Im Updating the band website and im perplexed previously on the mainpage were 3 warholesque images Johny Cash, Karl Marx and Pee Wee Herman when the mouse goes over each image the words purpose, Rebellion and distinction flash. Were now replacing the images and I need a suggestion we decided on Jimmy Walker, Ronald Reagan and ???? We want to go with a female who obviously would be a humorous and abstract counter to JJ and Reagan. we so far are tossing around Farrah Fawcett, Dolly Parton, Patti Smith, Lucy but I think theres a better choice out there..

We saw him when he was on tour reading from Rat Catcher and showing his films. He hung around the hall for hours talking to people and signing shit. He was totaly not what I expected.Laid back and approachable.
