This working everyday thing is killer. I got lazy over the summer, working three days a week. But now that everyone's gone back to school, the store is empty except for the few brave souls that go to school here. So we have to pick up all the shifts that they left. Not that it's a bad thing. It's not like I've got money just laying around. I do feel a little out of touch with everything; haven't been to any of my usual hideouts in ages. I haven't even really seen my boyfriend since I've been working morning and he works nights. Last night he only had to go in a few hours of overtime to finish up some things and when he got back we went to C.'s to hang out and have a few beers. It was great to see him again and great to hang out with someone other than the cats. He's been reading "Death on the Installment Plan" all summer and it was on the coffeetable. I read the first fifty or so pages while they played video games. Once I finish the Simone de Beauvoir I've been into, I want to read the rest.
I have to work today. And the next day. The next day I have a test but no work. So maybe I'll actually get to see my friends.
