The Summer of 1000 parties kicked off this weekend. I was worried at first that I would show my age, that I was past my rockstar prime and that I would be the first to announce defeat and go to bed. Twelve hours of capricious youth. Ahh summer.

The long weekend is over. Most everyone went back to work today. C. went to europe to hop around there for a month. My brother leaves thursday for Paris, back to the homeland we tease him. My boy went to work, I'm alone with the cats to ponder the meanings of things.

Bored. The meanings of things makes my head hurt and I'm being to think I should just go hide out in the cafe with 'London Fields' and not answer my cell phone.
(that sounded really horrible. forgive me. I only have a cell phone because my car is almost forty and tow trucks don't answer smoke signals. it doesn't ring that much honest. please don't kick me out of your punk rock club because I broke the indie creed...on second thought, fuck you. I play golf too mother fucker. say something about it)

I've had too much coffee...feeling flip. 'London Fields' is really good though. I finished 'Geek Love' and now 'London Fields' both have guys named Chick in them. I want to know a guy named Chick. It's short for Charles. I don't know any Charles so someone is going to be called Chick. I'll find someone.
