By God it's good to be back. I've been sat here for nigh on 2.5 hours just catching up. I'm sure I have other duties but that can wait.
If you were wondering were I've been I'll summarise...
I left SG in April last year and stuck with a dull job in finance. I had to do something else as that wasn't my chosen career. I showed interest in the Army Feb '06, went Officer training Selection in September and started at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst on Jan 7th. I also got married on December 2nd. That was awesome. My wife lives in Manchester so I only see her every 3-4 weeks which sucks but we're both doing what we want to do which is cool. I commision (hopefully into the Royal Artillery) on December 14th and after 4 to 6 months special to arms training (that includes driving tanks - awesome) the chances are I'll deploy straight out to Iraq or Afghanistan. Some other stuff happened in there but those two events stand proud. Sandhurst is very difficult and tests us everyday. Training is tough and my older than average body is only just keeping up. It hurts in every way but It's building me into something strong and ready to act when shit hits fans.
That's about it. I can't wait to gather some old friends around me and hopefully make it to a meet soon. Love you all. Huw.
