Well, crap! I was in a car wreck this morning. No one hurt (other than some bumps and bruises), and decidedly not my fault, (as several witnesses attested) but I'm still without a car at the moment. I'll be hitting up the other driver's insurance company for a rental in a little bit, but still. Don't know if the poor old 99 Civic can be repaired or not. Crunched the right front wheel pretty badly:
(appology for the crappy cell phone picture).
I've got a bruised rib, I think - probably from the seat belt, and a little scratch on my arm, I think when my glasses flew off. Could have been a LOT worse.
An amusing side note, though... the at-fault driver's insurance agent is named Chip Munk. No joke!
A week and a day until Spink's set comes out. We had a lot of fun shooting it, and I think you all will love it, so keep your eyes peeled!
I had a physical the other day, and my doctor gave me a late birthday present. Seems that one of the joys of turning 50 is you get to have a colonoscopy. And mine is scheduled for 7 AM on November 1st. So... guess how I'm going to be spending Halloween?
November begins NaNoWriMo - National (actually international) Novel Writing Month. 30 days to write 50,000 words. I'm going to give it a try. Don't know if I'll succeed or not -- it's not like I have a lot of free time, but as well as SoFoBoMo went, I've got to give it a try.
Well, I think that's the news from here. You kids play nice, now.
