HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Lots to be thankful for here. A wonderful family, great friends (here and elsewhere), many freedoms, privileges and undeserved benefits. Life is good.![smile](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/smile.0d0a8d99a741.gif)
I've been editing yoga pictures like mad for justicia. I'll include a composite at the bottom of this note. It's been a very relaxing day here. I slept late, watched (the end of) the Macy's Day Parade (as we always called it), watched Green Bay beat the Detroit Lions, stuffed the bird and peeled and cored apples, and now we're watching the holiday classic "Miracle on 34th Street" -- soon to end and leave me in tears as it does every year.![blush](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/blush.c659b594cdb0.gif)
Tomorrow I start my annual tradition of playing Christmas carols in downtown Columbia and raising money for the Salvation Army. I play my euphonium, typically for three or four hours at a stretch (I can go an hour without repeating tunes). It's a blast -- there's nothing like the smiles you get from the little kids.
Well, time to get on with the relaxing! Hope y'all enjoy your holiday (for the Americans, anyway). Eat too much and feel grateful for that opportunity that so few share. Be well, friends!
