Well, it looks like I'm going to be doing a little fashion shooting when I'm up in Montreal. I've been contacted by a couple models about shooting while I'm there. If any of y'all are there and want to get together... I'll be available most of Saturday 9/29 - Monday 10/1.. I'm really interested in developing my commercial portfolio, though fine art (or SG-ish stuff) is always fun, too!
Dinner tonight was at Longhorn. Most of a loaf of bread, salad, 9 oz. Filet Mignon (with Bleu cheese and portabella mushrooms), baked potato, cinammon apples, and a slice of key lime pie. MMMMmmmmm. I'm full of yummy in my tummy!
There are days I wish I had fewer interests. I feel like I don't have enough time to devote to any of them -- I'm spread too thin. After work and family, there's so few hours for the photography, the music, the web design, the programming projects, yard work, exercise.... yeesh! As a Quaker, you'd think I'd understand "simplicity" better. Apparently not. There have been a few times in my life when I've successfully simplified, and there's a real serenity in that. But there's an emptiness, too. I crave a certain amount of chaos, a feeling of being overwhelmed. Probably not a healthy desire, but there it is.
How many of you have the same sort of love-hate relationship with simplicity?
Anyone else here a Quaker?
I want to give everyone I know a great big hug. Just 'cause.
