Happy New Year all ye fair lads and lassies!
I'm working on putting together specific portfolios for different types of shoots. I started with the maternity port -- it's easy to identify what IS and ISN'T a maternity shot! LOL Besides, they're about my favorite to shoot. Not sure what I'm gonna do next.
Work is going to be interesting this year. The project manager for the hospital and laboratory information system died unexpectedly late last year, and I'm going to have to take over a lot of what she was doing. I've got a steep learning curve ahead of me! I'm looking forward to it, though -- I've been so isolated the last couple years. This will get me interacting with people again, which will definitely be better for my mental health.
I'm going to be doing some traveling for work, too -- probably won't have time for shoots, though . I'm probably heading to Minneapolis in a couple weeks, and then to eather Salt Lake City or Seattle in February (might be able to shoot on that trip....). May have some other trips to MSP in the not too distant future, too. Honestly, though, I'd rather stay home. I'm a homebody.
I have a real love/hate relationship with the new referrals and submissions page -- in some ways it makes things a lot easier and better, but there are some real frustrations, too. Fortunately, I know the frustrations are being worked on, and it's going to be awesome. Patience, Art, patience!
I'm trying to get a little exercise this year, too. We moved the exercise bike into the family room so we can watch TV while using it, and I've actually done 20 minutes 3 days in a row (still have to do it tonight, though ) Hopefully I can take this pot belly of mine down a little. I could really stand to drop 20-40 lbs.
I'll end with a bunch of the maternity pic's I printed last night.
Ok, time to hop on the bike!

I don't know.. I just realized I didn't actually put what the situation was.. I was so caught up in the choice.. *sigh* I'm a dork like that at times..
Good luck at work, my new job gives me less human contact than I'm used to, but I'll be working days again. I miss the Sun.
