Well, here we go -- Missouri weather at its finest!
I've said before that I like having four seasons, just not all in one week. Well, how about one day?
Today at noon it's supposed to be about 67 (20C) and stormy -- possibly severe (which means thunderstorms with high winds, hail and maybe even a tornado just for fun). The rain is supposed to continue as the temperature falls. By midnight it's supposed to switch over to freezing rain, then sleet, and eventually change over to all snow some time tomorrow morning.with temperatures dropping down into the middle 20's (-5C-ish). They're saying we may have up to a quarter inch (6mm) of ice on the roads with 3-6" (7-15 cm) of snow on top of that before it finally ends tomorrow afternoon/evening.
And tomorrow, besides work (which I don't mind missing), I'm supposed to have a stress test (heart thing) in the afternoon, and have a VERY important rehearsal that evening. AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!
I just hope school gets called off tomorrow so my son isn't out driving in all the mess!
Well, that was gloomy! How 'bout I leave you with some tunes this time. This is the ShowMe Brass Band, the nine-piece brass group I play with (I play tuba in case you couldn't guess from my name!), recorded in an outdoor concert this summer. Hope you like 'em!
Davenport Blues
Sunrise Sunset
Salvation Army March (watch out this one's louder than the others!)
Beer Barrel Polka (also loud)
