Has anyone noticed that there's no heroes anymore? Two of the Ramones are dead. Ace Frehley is a wannabe Nazi. Ed Wood was a racist, too. The Dixie Chicks are selling out like there's no tomorrow (and I normally hate to accuse ANYONE of 'selling out,'as I find it to be an overused expression), and Natalie Maines keeps making idiotic comments. Michale Graves became a prima donna. I guess that's what happens when you put someone on a pedestal - they either die young or make an ass out of themselves. Henry Rollins is all I have left, goddamn it!

Not to mention that once you're considered a hero by everyone, what do you do? If you continue making the same stuff, you're accused of losing your originality. If you change your style, you're accused of leaving behind what made you heroic in the first place.
But then, I'm just playing devil's advocate
