Thinking of buying this
Canon EOS 5D
not a totally pro level but enough pixels and very good quality, full frame sensor!
With this goes 2 high-end zooms 24-70mm at 2,8f and a 70-200 at 2,8f with stabilizer (this last one only: 1700euros without taxes, the cheapest place I found).
This way if for a job I'd need the top level I can hire only the body of the markII and still use my lenses, plus I'll have the habit of the Canon menus.
If I can make it (5500 euros investment) I'll have the perfect material for a set, the 2 lenses are 2,8f, the stabilizer will let me shot at 1/15 without a tripod, and the D5 can work until 1600 ISO with almost no noise.
----> I'll be able to use normal interior ambient lights.
Plus the flash I'll get can work as a good fill in or ambient rebounce with a 43 guide number and a capacity of 1 shot every 4 sec.
Why do I invest in this material and don't wait or invest in higher end like Hasselblad?
Because I've just been hired to shoot as a freelancer for an car magazine! But a test car magazine for sports amateurs. that means not that much beauty shots like I use to do but also sports-like shot, with the car powersliding in a circuit b.e. Reason why I need a more or less light material able to shoot 17 RAW picts in a row (or 60 jpg at full res.) at 3 frames per sec.
AND I'll have the possibility to take pictures of car like Mazeratti, Aston Martin, BMW 6M6, or even prototypes
Exiting!
Hope Murphy's law aint'gona fuck me like it does lately (jewelry is making me sick, all the providers are failing and getting late...)
