So today I had the second session on my day of the dead girl tattoo and it was actually a bit easier than the first one. I'm not sure if it's because it was mostly shading instead of line work or whether it was because I managed to relax a bit more this time, but it wasn't as bad. I just about managed my 1 and a half hour sitting. It was meant to be 2 hours but I got stuck in traffic : / I've found the area in between the bottom of my ribs and hips to be the worst though. Really awful, major respect to anyone who has anything big in this area. Although saying that I think it's a nice area to get something done on if you can hack it! I'm sure a lot of you probably find tattoos easier than me, I'm not too convinced on the extent of my pain threshold. Nearly there with it now though probably need another hour or so to finish it and get the scroll done. Anyway here's a few photos....
I'm really pleased with it and think it'll be the best one I have for now. The trouble with being on this site is that I keep seeing so many amazing bits of art on here it keeps making me think about getting more and more. Definitely want to carry on getting this finished first but I don't think it'll be my last!
It's looking quite red at the moment but I think that's because of my medication, but I'm pretty sure it'll go down quite quickly. Hope your all having good weekends.
