Well.
Yesterday was interesting. I sliced open my wrist because I was stupid and put cold coke in a hot glass at work. It was busy as fuck at work, but I was gushing blood, so someone took over my tables and I went to the ER -- worker's comp of course. Got a couple stitches. Came back to work to pick up my tips, which ended up being wayyyy more than they were supposed to be. There must've been some computer glitch, and I'm sure when I head into work tonight they'll be like "uhhhh, we need 60 bucks from you". Here's hoping that doesn't happen.
After work, I went into to studio to record some vocals, came home to a DND character choosing convention of nerds in my living room. I sat on the floor, drank beer, and watched them make their characters and play for a while. It was entertaining enough.
Well, Poe has officially left Richmond. She came by to get the surviving remainder of her possessions on Saturday, and then hit the road. I'm such a loser. I cried all the way to work. I mean, I know I haven't hung out with her or even seen her since early July, but still -- there was something about the finality of her leaving Richmond that really really really really sucked big fat hairy balls. I don't really have much else to say about this, but if you get a minute, go to her journal and wish her happy times in Cloumbus, OH.

the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
The context of the "guns" in the Eisenhower quote are the machinations of war which have been used by this regime to oppress a population.
The boundary between free people and government begins to dissolve when individuals do not arm themselves.
The fact that citizens, like yourself, own guns is the deterrent to total government control of the citizens in this country, the type of control we are witnessing now imposed in Iraq.
......and of course your need for personal safety is primary and should never be turned over to a government contrivance like the police.
