I'm so happy right now -- some friends of mine are opening a new studio in Richmond (top of the line -- not some half-ass home studio), and I've been asked to be a sound engineer. I have to go to Maryland and take ProTools training so that I can be certified, which is expensive, but I don't have to pay for anything because it's a business expense. Micah from Bella Morte is going to be the head engineer for the studio, and with his rep and skill, we should have no problem attracting clients. Kyle from Logic of Decay will also be an engineer. At the current time, there are 3 other people involved in the process. We are currently looking for a location -- there's a nice space in Carytown, but nothing is definite yet. This is one of my dreams, and it will help with my others -- because I will be able to record my music in an industry standard digital studio. So, I may not be leaving Richmond afterall... ...the plan is a serious one -- arrangements for the monster loan have already been made. One step closer to my new future.

Congratulations, I love to hear it when people have things start to come together for them. What kind of gear is the studio gonna be equipped with? (That's just the part of me that never stops working asking that question. It's the same part of me that looks directly for the amp racks whenever I go to a concert. Oh well.)

I hope it all works out for you.
