i'll be back later with pictures, and hopefully i'll get a decent one of myself so i can change my profile pic. everyone's been harassing me about changing it anyway. wink

i've got a full-fledged cold. it started on friday morning, so i think its a combination of allergies to whatever pollens portland has that are foreign to my body and the smoking of way too many cigarettes. lack of sleep and too much drink probably didn't help. i hope i didn't get anyone else sick, though.

i'm starting to get the moving itch again. i...

you live across the street from a bunch of friends of mine!

for some reason i feel that's important enough to pay money at an internet cafe in scotland to tell you, even though i know you already know. really i should go to sleep :-)

girls talk to me about the strangest things. last night, L's girl was telling me all about climbing barefoot down a mountain in eastern washington. this other girl was telling me about her navy family's reaction to her spinning fire. in both cases, i didn't know what to say. i just smiled and nodded.

trying to get errands done before the short trip to portland....

Hey cutiepie! It was great to meet you! You are a great girl, wish I hadn't been dragged off so fast so I could've hung out with you ladies, but I was being tugged in 28 directions at once.

You are a doll!

what a fucking stupid math class! i think i actually fell asleep with my eyes open a few times. since i already know how to add and fucking subtract, i'm going to try to switch to some other class and then study math on my own so i can retake the test and not have to go through retard math.

you should call me, even though you don't have my number, lane does, and we should do a set together in portland... in the hotel, under the matress
kinnie:
hehe, yes, this commenting is getting to be a bit ridiculous. Get yer bum on AIM! That said...
Ooh, it would be fun to teach English in a foreign country. Of course, marrying would be even more fun.
That's so cool that you used to play at powwows. Did you go to the ones at um... erm... there was a school in Seattle, and my sister's friend used to go to powwows there I think. I went once.
And yes, you know, all the people that read my journal and all. All um... two! They all know your secret now. *mwahaha*
Goodness, your family is interesting. The Republican bit is the only thing that disturbs me wink
Well, I guess the only thing that changed is that my bro-in-law stopped asking obnoxious questions about boyfriends. Now he asks obnoxious questions about girlfriends. And trust me, they're not any less annoying. And my dad "slips" me articles & books about gay issues from time to time. And my mother frequently feels the need to add in "gay people she knows" to a conversation. heh. okay, I'm making them sound terrible. But they are supportive.

ooh, i do love procrastination. Yeah, I'm constantly worried that I am supposed to be somewhere I'm not and blah blah. Can't wait to graduate... 8 months! Wow, only 7 fire spinners?! I'm sure there's more. Well, look forward to hearing more from ya.

i often wonder why i don't just collapse. this week is so insane for me. i'm starting school again tomorrow, going to the anniversary party on thursday, and meeting my real mother (who i haven't seen in 12 years) on saturday. i also have to work a 10 or 11 hour shift on wednesday with basically no one to help me, and i'm going to...

Of course! Although, I think I should be allowed to think you're cute as hell, flirt a bit, and not expect anything to come of it, which I never did. So, no worries. I'm going to shut up now.

wow busy busy, i thought my life was busy... well dont get to stressed out. if you feel overwhelmed stop sit down, close your eyes... breath in as deep as you can then breath out as far as you can do that a couple times... then think of how you will get to play with that nifty fire soon... and dont hyperventalate

i got an email from My Friend In Sweden. he said that he had decided that i couldn't come live with him, which i totally expected. but the way he said it was so insulting and degrading. he pulled out the same old bullshit that he's been using on me for two years now, that he is the one who does all the sacrificing. he...

Hello
Some time ago there was a thread about the good use of the friends list....
Judging from what was posted on this board, apparently some persons use it in a "pragmatic" way, merely as a technical feature that allows them to open quickly the journals they use to visit frequently; as on the opposite end of the spectrum, other members list only people they are actually friends with in real life.
I feel like I'm somewhere in the middle... I know you merely from what you posted in boards; it made me curious reading your journal; what I read in your journal made me curious about these fire acts you wrote about in it; and I thought that, before asking you something about that, it was better I say you "hello" and some more than "hello"!
jorganic:
Yeah SF is funny like that with its micro-climates. I, luckily, live on the sunny side of town. My friends who live closer to the ocean are ALWAYS fogged over and colder.

god, is it still friday? i'm losing track of time so much lately. and thursday night seemed like an entire day unto itself. next time the seattle sg members meet, i'll have to bring a camera. and pick someplace else.

arik and azura: you two are a bad influence. i might just have to do the "gir set" idea for the hell of it. wink

i'm...

the pics came out very, very badly. not even the slightest bit salvageable. oh well. i'm sure my dad will be willing to take pictures for me this weekend, and he's been a photographer for years, as compared with paul, who i handed my camera and said "take pictures."

i am so excited about tonight!! i feel like i'm going to meet a new lover,...

good god. I was just looking at a thread you started and noticed that I had been incorrectly reading your name as tryptaminebutterfly all this time. somewhat disturbing for someone as obsessed with words as I am. I am afraid of what I will next discover I have been incorrectly assuming.

Thanks for suggesting the outing. it was a pleasure meeting you and the others. I hope we will all have a chance to get together again.
