it looks like i won't be taking pictures today. my friend's car isn't out of the shop yet, and, in his words, "i don't think pictures of a rusty volkswagen would be quite as cool as a shiny cadillac." oh well, we'll probably go out and drink tonight anyway.
i finally got a reply from the hempfest organizers, so i'll be there bright and early both saturday and sunday. i don't know how i feel about that. i'm just wondering at this point 1) why in hell did i volunteer for a shift that early?? and 2) will there be a coffee stand open at 5 am on the weekend??

I remember Seattle hempfest last year. It was my first time in Seattle. (I'm from Indiana). I had been traveling for about a month. I'd never been dirtier. I had pink dreadlocks and a sign that said something like, "We need a ride to Portland, dudes." I saw my cousin, whom I hadn't seen in 10 years. She was stunningly beautiful and good-natured. We ate strawberry shortcake and listened to music. Life was good.
