lol yeah i think those things are silly. i just trim everything to about half an inch and shave off anything that goes outside of my thong line, its a thin triangle but definately not a friggin landing strip... 
Honduras was amazing. Saw several migrating whale sharks. The largest was about 8m. Truly incredible to see. Also went on a shark dive which ended with being surrounded by about 2 dozen reef sharks. The largest being about 7-8 ft. Very intense dive for me but came out unscathed...
