My best friend of 10 years has passed on. To say he was an inspiration doesn't really cover it--he was a force of nature. He touched many people and he had a lot to do with who I am today. I will miss him always.

If you knewDeusExMachina, feel free to leave a message on his journal. I'll be cancelling his account in a week or so.

Jennifer emailed me yesterday, returning Ian's unanswered emails with the news. She invited remembrances for a book, so I sent my post plus comments made to Ian's page since January 19.

Yeah, the guy ranged far and wide, didn't he? smile
