I love vaginas.

Especially yours.

Yes. Yours.

EDIT: I'm a bit drunk. We'll see if I regret this post in the morning or not.

Um, I hate to break this to you...but I don't have one. tongue
radiofrank:
Those are just rumours. I deny everything.

I found a website (www.ipodmods.com) that says it can fix iPod screens for 90 bucks. Certainly cheaper than buying a new one, but still more than I can currently afford. Soon enough, though.

A friend of mine is putting together an anthology of superhero/comic book/comic strip themed poems. He said if I finish one up very quickly he'll consider it for the anthology. I'm writing...

1. Cassandra might be the best fighter in the DCU but it doesn't matter if she can't read! She can't read a stop sign or a menu or make change or do anything!
2. Oracle is PARALYZED FROM THE WAIST DOWN! People argue all the time that she is a much cooler character as Oracle but why was it necessary to not only physically limit her, but do it in such a demoralizing/humiliating way?
3. Black Canary, while being part of the Bird of Prey is like a step-cousin to the Bat-family. I don't consider her immediately related.
perdita:
1. Except for the fact that she literally walked off the face of Gotham City. Her book ended with her becoming "Cain" whatever that means and wandering into the mists, to return, when exactly? Furthermore, DC had EVERY opportunity to teach her how to read (including making her a temporary member of the Birds of Prey along with a TEACHER and a LIBRARIAN and they still didn't think to teach her how to read. And last time Babs even thought to try all she got was "oh your brain works differently than most peoples, so I don't know how to teach you." She shouldn't have to be illiterate in order to be a fantastic fighter, how can you say that's a plausible REASONABLE sacrifice of skill? Not to mention it's a sacrifice she had no say in. Don't forget that until she came to Gotham she couldn't even talk.

2. Why couldn't Oracle be just as awesome WITHOUT being paralyzed? Why did she have to be paralyzed in the first place? Actually (and I wish I had the specific article to cite) when Alan Moore checked with the editor (at the time) of DC about getting permission to write "The Killing Joke" as such, the editor said "kill the bitch" or something to that effect. Furthermore, her paralyzation was done in such a way as to bring her down to the level of an object, but little more than that. I'll be the first one to say that she isn't weak, however she is still INCOMPLETE and this incompleteness can nag at her on occasion.

3. Black Canary is most often associated with the Justice League, even if she isn't technically a member. Although I'm not really sure what's going on with the DCU at this point except that every time I check up on things, they seem to really be pissing me off.

I'm really surprised we're at such opposing ends of this argument. Another interesting thing to check out (in relation to this) if you haven't already is Women in Refrigerators.

Yesterday, I accidentally dropped my iPod and now you can't read the top corner of the screen or parts in the middle. Today, its gotten worse. I don't suppose there's any way to fix this without buying a whole new iPod, is there?

Screen damage is usually the death knell for most electronic gadgets of that sort. skull

When did the news section around here become so absurdly biased?

So, I quit my job today (see previous post for explination). I promised to stay on until the end of the week. Then I'm done.

I'm going to the Poetry Slam Nationals in 2 weeks to represent Providence.

My sexual frustration has reached an all time high (warm weather does that to me).

Life is weird.
radiofrank:
Life is very weird, to say the least.

Bravo to standing up for your convictions, by the way. Good stuff.

So I have a nice new account here. Nice to take a look around. Lots of beautiful women, lot's of beautiful members, lots of beautiful women members too.

My life is in an odd state of flux. My job is evenly divided into two seperate parts. I love one half of it, and really really hate the other half. I'm not sure how much longer...

Possible? I think that you might be putting it mildly.

Things are okay with me. A little more quiet than usual, but I have no complaints. Nice to see you here again.
