Why have I been avoiding thrift stores al these years? There are a few around here I used to go to all the time, but haven't been to one since high school. I finally decided I had to hit the one a block away from my house today when I picked up Mika. She's wearing a sweatshirt that could have fit her mom, and floods.
I was able to get her 3 pairs of pants, 2 sweatshirts, 2 jackets, 2 t-shirts, and a dress. I got one hoodie for me and spent around $40! And all of this stuff is like new! Most of the clothes she has here are getting too small, and she needs colder weather stuff anyway. I figure I can replace all of her clothes here for around $80.
I even saw a really pretty girl working there that kept looking at me. Of course I never got the balls to talk to her, but I'd have to guess that she's too young anyway. Most are.
I'm not cheap, just broke!
