Did something the other day that I've never done. I actually spent money on clothes ... for myself! A friend of mine has a wedding coming up in a week or so. Since my closet is full of nothing but heavily worn T-shirts, jeans, and old work clothes I figured I'd need some new threads fit for the occasion.

So off to men's wearhouse I went to pick out a suit. Absolutely NOTHING fit me. If it fit in the shoulders, it was too full in the middle. If it fit in the middle, I had shoulder pad on my collar bone. I found pants that came as close as possible to get tailored, and also had to get the jacket custom tailored to fit. Came out costing a lot more than I was prepared for. When I got there I realized I was going to have to buy a shirt, belt, shoes, socks, and the suit. (I thought about a hat too, but I might look like a pimp) So I am officially broke but, come Aug 20th, Brandon is going to be one dapper dude. Mika is so much easier to dress up. A pretty pink dress, some tights, strappy shoes, and she's all set. I just have to figure out how to do her hair. Her mom won't help me for some reason.

Update on my almost legal situation. The police department called and said if I don't want to press charges they are at the end of what they can do. They talked to the other guy and I guess he's more worried about going to jail (again so it seems) than anything. he hasn't come back (yet) all my windows are still in tact, so I'm hoping the situation has diffused. let's keep our fingers crossed.
