Alvin Schwartz put together a whole bunch of really awesome folklore stories-- all supposed to be scary, but unfortunately, he made them very un-scary by dumping the detail. Anyways, Stephen Gammell was the artist for the Scary Stories series and did a wonderful job. The drawings are in water pencils. Anyways, they are my favorite, because they have so much detail, and there are creepy web like lines that just go off into little blood drops off of everything. The shading is well done also. My favorite medium is graphite, but mixed with water-color its brilliant. Great art for an unworthy book.

Love is making me question my own actions, and whether i need to become a better person. It hurts my insides. Still i cling to it for the reward.
Anyway, i know the feeling of Corvallis getting undermy skin in bad ways, making me not want to do anything, lazy and stupid. But if you move somewhere else why would it be different? If you did go, you'd have to promise yourself to act differetnly and think differently, SOMEHOW, otherwise it would be the same pattern in your head over and over, just without familiar people around. Unless it is all thew familiar people who cause the problems you are feeling in you to emerge.
I hope you never feel offended by what i type in your journals. I just type what comes to mind. I didn't intend to sound mean with that first comment, but then again it is my opinion, and opinions are little barbs.
