I've been applying at a bunch of places for a new job, but I secretly think that my facial piercings are affecting my chances. How dare they discriminate! This makes me sad.
Laurian and I have been discussing moving in together. She's a rad chick. I'm looking forward to shacking up with her. I just hope her boyfriend won't turn into a freeloading bum when we do. I must not allow that!
Also, my lovely friend Neen arrives in 40 days. Yeah, we're counting down!
Other than that, there isn't really much to look forward to these days. I'm getting my bellybutton pierced on Saturday, I'm pretty psyched about that. Its a birthday present from Gordie, since my birthday is Sunday but he's working then. I'm used to the concept of metal in my face/nipples. That seems natural to me. But my stomach? I think it will be fun to have for a few years. I have a feeling I'll get emotionally attatched to having it there, however, like all the others, heh.

hope the navel piercing went well!! i got mine done almost six years ago and i remember it was a snap.

mine took the normal length of time--a couple months. don't worry! you have only had it for a few days, of course it won't be healed yet.
