On Saturday, I went to Las Vegas with moonpile. We left round 11pm and arrived at 3am. Hung out, wondereded about, took some pictures, talked, and left for home about 4 1/2 hours later. I was back by 11am the next day.
Sunday was fathers day. I did alot of thinking about things. My father killed himself on his birthday twelve years ago and it certainly left its mark on my psyche. It's taken a long time to forgive and remember how much I loved that crazy bastard. There's so much I wish I could ask and discuss. Maybe someday.
Monday I cleaned up, inside and out. The highlight of the day was enjoying some Italian cuisine with Voltaire for dinner. She has quickly become one of my best friends. I love her dearly and wish her good health, wealth, and happiness.
Tuesday - more cleaning. I also attended a screening for The Fairly Odd Parents' "Channel Chasers" tele-movie which I had done quite a bit of storyboarding on. MobProd came along for the ride and the free food/drinks. It was only after a glass of wine and a pint of beer that I remembered that I hadn't eaten all day. Needless to say, I got pretty buzzed. It was the perfect mindstate to watch a hyperactive cartoon movie.
After the screening, we hung out and mingled with the crew. It was so strange to me. I felt like I have changed so much since that job. Thanks to SG, I have a great life and greater friends outside of the animation "biz".
Wednesday - more cleaning. Plus I ran around the valley looking for a 512mb ram card for my Ibook. I neeeeeeed it to play Worlds of Warcraft. I do ask myself if I really should be playing video games when I have so many other things I could be doing. YES. That game fucking rocks cox. I never did find the card. But I had fun looking.
I spent the evening cleaning the living room and loading music into Itunes. I passed out around midnight. A rare thing. Usually the sun is rising by the time I'm going to bed. Eh, whatevah
Which brings us to today...
I'l let you know how it turns out
