Ah, the joys of living with the elderly....every night at 8pm, we watch "Diagnosis Murder", starring both Dick and Barry Van Dyke! Now, this is a good way for me to spend time with my dad w/o listening to an angry rant about anything(except the length of commercials and how crappy tv is now compared to the 70s).
I find that continued exposure to Diagnosis M has turned me into something of a fan. They have a fansite; I've visited it. However, I just can't understand why the Metropolitan Police Force lets an elderly, unarmed doctor go into dangerous situations by himself; not to mention the access to confidential files. Then there is the whole question of how the doctor that runs the hospital(and his pals the emergency room doc and the pathologist)can rush out of the hospital at the drop of a hat to go get held by gunpoint. Again.
