Okay.... Here it comes:
What the hell is up with all these crap hopeful sets lately? I admit I was a little scattered on my first sets theme, but I looked over each of those sample sets until I really understood what SG was looking for before doing the actual shoot. If I was these hopefuls and I saw my set at the end and saw that it was so not up to SG standards I would not submit it. Why bother? All the resources are given to you. If you don't have a camera, if you have no idea how to shoot quality photos, find someone who does, or forget it until you do. It's really not that complicated of a concept. SG is buying a product from you, if your product is shitty and sub par.. then they don't want it. I'm tired of hearing these whiny excuses from hopefuls that "I'm working with what I have" and "I know the quality isn't that great, but I worked really hard" thats all really nice... but it's not good enough. That's the reality of it. I would also be embarrassed to have crappy, mypace-ish, cheap-porno pictures of myself on the internet.
Ugh. I've really had enough.
On a lighter note:
my tattoo artist called and he sketched up something even more awesome for my piece, and he's giving me a deal on it since he really wants to do it. However, its bigger, so I have to choose a new spot. I really wanted to get it on my upper body, so I'm thinking of doing my ribs, even tho I know its going to be a bitch, what do you guys think?

But she suggested to do it a little bit toward the back so it will hurt less.
