So, the roommate found out about her fate a little sooner than planned. She happened to see one of my adds on Craigslist and asked me about it (although I'm kind of curious why she was looking in that section to begin with). She confronted me this morning about it, and I told her, and kept it very short and very clear. I said her work and pay were too inconsistent, she said no they weren't. She basically said that I came up with this lie to get her out (not that I even needed to give her an excuse in the first place, and me being broke for two weeks because of her says otherwise). She then went on a tirade about me (calling me a scam artist, and a liar), and the house (I'm still working on some things in the house, but haven't been able to finish anything cause I didn't have the money because of her). She went on about how she's cleaned the house, the fridge, cleared out some other things (which I really do appreciate, but I never asked for any of it to begin with, and they don't pay the bills). There were a few other things in there, but I chose to let it go cause I was tired of hearing it that early in the morning. She eventually said that she wasn't giving me the money she owed me because she wouldn't believe that I won't throw her out first thing next week, that's more or less where the conversation ended (for me, at least).
Now, I had every intention of giving her 30 days to save up her money and find a place. I at least wanted her to find a somewhat decent place for her and her son before leaving this house. I'm not the kind of person to outright throw someone out on the street. But, after she refused to pay me, she forced me to this. I decided before going to work that she had until this day next week that she needed to pack her shit. Then, I thought about it throughout the day, and eventually said "fuck this", and decided that I want her out by Tuesday. That's the last bit of sympathy I have for her, otherwise I'd have her out by the end of the weekend. But, it's probably better this way. I may already have two potential roommates lined up. And, I think she might be a little crazy. I think I got a taste of what my neighbor had to deal with from her a few weeks ago (I think a little more than a taste). I get her anger, but her insults to be and trying to talk down to me like a child was pretty damn immature now that I think about it.
So, the bottom line is that I don't think she can keep up financially, she thinks she can and that I'm lying to get her out, and at this point it really doesn't matter. I do feel for her son, cause he doesn't need this. But this is on her, not me.
Anyway, for no reason, I give you all this...
