Well, this should be an interesting couple of weeks. In addition to my roommate being possibly crazy, it also seems that we may be having a miscommunication about the bills. Without going into details, it may seem that she won't be able to keep up with her half of the bills like I thought she would. And with summer slowly creeping up, that's gonna be a BIG problem. If she can't handle it, then she'll have to go. Not exactly the route that I want to take (since she has a kid), but I'm not about to be stuck paying the majority of the rent and bills (which I'm already sort of doing, but a small majority).
I have to admit though, I kind of want her gone (and so does my neighbor, but that's another story). I've had a pretty weird vibe about her since the first week she moved in. I should really trust my instincts more often, cause they usually end up being right. Oh well, we'll see how things go towards the end of the month.
Update: Well, she apologized for the thing regarding the bills, and concluded that it wasn't as big a deal as she thought it was. While I accepted the apology, I'm still concerned about her financial standing. Mine ain't all that great, but I can at least keep up with my shit. But I'm not about to continue paying my half and then taking care of her slack. I've got personal responsibilities that I need to deal with (and a couple of trips that I want to take advantage of), and I can't continue to push them back. I was pretty damn generous for not asking for first and last month's rent, and a deposit. All I asked for was half the bills for the month she moved in, which wasn't much at the time. I guess she may have known that I might be reconsidering her residency here, hence the apology. But as I said, I'm still reconsidering the issue, and I still kind of don't want her here anymore. I don't wanna be the bad guy in this, but she might force my hand.
