This has been a very transitional week for me; I had to buy a replacement car 'cause my Tercel caught fire on the highway, our divorce kit arrived a few days ago so soon the nuptuial split will be all legalfied, and the beard is now a thing of the past. Life can be fairly weird sometimes, but I look at it like a young Hunter S. Thompson "We'ed be fools not to ride this strange torpedo to it's natural conclusion."

It was very sad watching my '93 Toyota go for scrap (not a load of resale value in a car with no engine), we rolled as deep as a man and a car could. Trekking across BC, transporting cremated remains, G-turns in the spring rain...it was almost as bad as when the flatbed truck hauled-off my first vehicle, a 1981 powder-blue Datsun. But at least this time I got $45 bucks, so the universe balances out.

So to recap: new car, divorce, new look. Ladies I know what you're thinking, and yes "the welcome mat is out so lets see who comes knocking." I also know what's running through your mind as an ajoiner to the previous thought, "How can he type this crap and keep a straight face?" Well the only answer I can give is "I don't know."



Is this the face of desire? For all that's good and pure, I hope the answer is "No".
