This past weekend was our fourth in a row for family coming to stay over. It was my parents this time. Its hard to say no when all they want is to spend time with the boys. On Sunday morning we took the boys out to the sugar bush. They had set up this whole thing in the woods where you take a horse drawn sleigh out to different sites where they had camps set up to show how sap is taken from the trees, then boiled up in huge cauldons to make maple syrup. It was neat for them to see the old native way through to the modern ways of getting syrup. It was cold but the pancakes at the end were yummy. Although it was fun and Des and Oscar were loving it , I am looking forward to some time this weekend for just me. I think my hubby can take them out somewhere for an afternoon so Mommy can just sit and read or take a long bath maybe. The extra cooking and cleaning for commpany has got me drained. Plus the huge baby belly plus all the workk of these two toddlers has started to wear this Mommy down. The problem is that I am so used to working all the time with chores around the house that when I do get free time (almost never) I don't know what to do with it. Maybe I'll do the whole facial, pedicure thing and pamper myself a bit. Or maybe I'll go out to get my hair done, or maybe to visit the tattoo shop and bug my old coworkers and maybe get more jewellery..I dunno..any suggestions?

that syrup sounds like it would be good as hell! It sounds like you definetly deserve a day at the spa
