I am going camping soon, I go every year (except the last two
) and I always go to the same spot when the kids go back to school. Its in Northern Ontario, called Tobermore its on the beautiful, bright blue Georgian bay.
I love it. I bring almost nothing except a tent and food and water. When I was younger I portaged through the National Park to get to the interior of the forest to camp so I could catch a glimpse of a bear ( I never did) now I settle on a site closer to the head of trails that all lead to quiet cool forest walks..One such trail leads to the Grotto, its like a bay made of slate and dolomite rock, has caves that you can swim through and further out in the water there is a shipwreck that you can see snorkling, all the rest you have to dive to see. The other trails lead to different little inland lakes..Marr lake, Horse lake..all always empty of people and nice place to hang for the day with my dog Murray. The last time I was there I was still growing shrooms so I took quite a bit along and spent two days wandering from lake to lake, I took pictures of my husband and I shroomy ..marvelling at the wonders and beauty of nature. Watching the trees breathe I remember saying..hahah
No shooms this time though.I've quit everything but pot for quite a time now.
I wish I was there today......
