Well today my bestfriend gets married. I am stoked to see him happy. We have been best friends since he moved in two houses down from me when I was 3 or 4. The venue his fiancee and him picked is beautiful. It is out in the middle of no where in a tiny little village on a lake. One of the prettiest parts of our home state. (Maine is beautiful anyways, so calling something one of the prettiest parts means something)
I was just talking to him on facebook a few minutes ago and I told him to enjoy today. He told me he was starting to get nervous.
I asked him if he was sure about his fiancee. (It was a leading question, I knew the answer. lol)
He said of course.
So I told him not to worry, the hard part was over. The rest of today will be a cakewalk.
I figure once you find the one you want to marry and are absolutely sure of that fact, the wedding is the easy part (at least, after all the planning is done).
I mean they have been living together for over three years. They have no deep dark secrets from each other. They bought a house together. At this point they are already playing the married couple role. All today does is give everyone a chance to celebrate them and give them a piece of paper that the government has to recognize them as a permanent single entity.
This worked. He seems less nervous now.
The weather if perfect (as perfect as mid-september in Maine can be)
It is going to be a good day.
