Well everyone seems to be griping about Ben Affleck as Batman in the next Man of Steel. I figured I would weigh in:

Well in all honesty, as long as they do not try to link Man of Steel universe with Dark Knight universe, it could be okay. I could view them as two different takes on the same hero. One from Superman's view (MOS) and one from Batman's view (DK). I mean we all see things differently anyways, right? So Superman's view of Batman would be much different than the way Batman sees himself. This film will be a continuation of Superman's story, so why not have the Batman that Man of Steel would see, if we looked through his eyes?
Though it seems they are locking the two together, I do not know as though the film will be really about Batman as much as the solo movies. I am hopeful, but not optimistic. I will go see it when it comes out though.

Anyways the movie doesn't come out for a couple years. Maybe it would be prudent to start hating it, after we see it. xD
