A friend of mine who is also my ex has broken up with her boyfriend. (He deserved it.)
She's not reintegrating to single life well -- poorly enough, in fact, to suggest that we should give "us" another try, despite "us" ending years ago citing mutually agreed upon long term incompatibilities.
As far as emotional vulnerability goes, I'm not doing much better than she is. It's like a contest of impulse control to decide who will take advantage of the other first.
She's invited herself over to my place tonight to watch TV together. My place is a studio apartment not much good for entertaining, where my bed is the largest and most comfortable seating available.
This will end well.
I suppose I should put some pants on.
