Last stop of the 'Her Majesty' tour. This is pre-Decemberists fame so the Fox was about half-sold out (the fox is a little smaller than the El Rey) Best show ever. the book is okay, not as good as i hoped, but still really really interesting (the parts about the e6 community)

i got a disk full of rarities, the last show ever (in new zeleand, i had only had one song from it before)

and a live show from SF (which it turns out i already had)

i bought way too many concert tickets today whatever in alphabetical order: Animal Collective, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Jose Gonzalez, and Of Montreal. Considering buying tickets for Stars. Awaiting sale info on Belle and Sebastian and The Boy Least Likely. Should I find other ways to occupy my time? hmmmmmmm, nope.

i love the microphones. especially in my brand new headphones (sennheiser HD595). headphones, that i might add, that cost way too much money. oh well, thats holiday bonuses are for.

the arcade fire with david bryne was amazing. im sure it was more amazing than with bowie. thats right, i said it.

Jenny Lewis tickets came in the mail today. i have this odd feeling that Mrs. Lewis is going to see me in the crowd, become instantly smitten, run away to a small villa in SoFra (thats what the cool kids call Southern France. Kind of like SoHo or WeHo), and live happily every after.

i didnt get into andrew bird frown dinner reservations were sold out and we got there a few minutes too late; the people in front of us got in. so so so so sad.

i was working tonight and wondering whether anyone was attempting to trick-or-treat at my house and then i thought of last year when i was talking to you on the phone on halloween and the doorbell rang and i freaked out because i may have had a trick-or-treater but i wasn't wearing much clothing so i didn't answer the door.

it gave me a chuckle. surreal

what could be better than seeing Fiona Apple at Largo? Not much, but I do have this:

Met Jon Brion and talked with him for a good 10 minutes after the show.

Met Fiona love

Met the opening comedian and made a few jokes with him. Bryan something. Was told he is on Comedy Central a lot. Had a good bit about having an eagle.
