Arthurfest was fun. No "their friend Jeff" but Olivia Tremor Control rocked out. The short set was a little dissappointing only because it left me wanting so much more. Afterwards, I got to meet John F. and W. Cullum of OTC and talked to them for a while. Really nice people. Well, since its Saturday, I guess their is no more OTC. Their show on Friday up in SF was there last show ever. EVER. Its cool that I got to see them on their last tour but I must say I am wicked jealous of Melissa...She saw a whole set (2+ hours) and Jeff. No fair!!! But she did not find out this juicy tidbit of information: Jeff has been recording new material for the past 3 years and is in the process of making it perfect. Note: I did not say he ever plans to release it, but the rumours on the street is that it is fucking amazing....Amazing. I can understand if he never decides to release it. I mean how could one ever follow up his last album. No matter what it is, it will still be his second (or third) greatest CD of all time.
::Man, I love thqat CD. the first time I heard it, it was like my favorite CD of all time.::
he should still release it. If even if it is his third best, it would still be in the top 20 of all time on my CD list. It does not matter if it ever gets released. All that matters is that he is not off in the circus and is creating new music (and listening to Indian pyscodelic pop music. I would be lying if I said I even knew what that was.

who's opening for interpol? hopefully not someone i shouldn't have missed...
at least mr magnum wasnt there, i wouldve been very very very angry to have missed that.
