Don't you just love the holidays? Not only do have to not spend this week with the one person that i really want to spend it with (my girl ), but i have the wonderful opportunity to spend it with the two people who i least want to spend it with (my father/step-mother),
Leave for airport at 6:30 M for a 9:15 flight, to get on a plane, loose two hours and arrive at 2:00PM. Let me tell you...tons of fun. I get to sit next to a small crying child who was upset about flying on the plane by himself. I was more than happy to help calm him down (i myself have been in his position many a-time when i was a young child), but i didn't get the reading time on the plane that i was hoping for. Oh well, hopefully i made the kids flight semi-enjoyable.
i get off the plane and its like 10degrees in KY! 60deg in CO yesterday and now this? I mean its colder than a welldiggers ass here They say its supposed to warm up soon, but what do they know anyway.
So i finally make it to the pickup area and meet my father.
him: "i missed you son"
me: "thanks" (no you didn't)
him: "its good to have you home"
me: "thanks" (no you don't)
...silence...
him: "How's school?"
me: "fine" (why are you asking this? you dont care)
so on and so forth until im ready to leave this retched place. I know i can be an ass sometimes, but right now i honestly dont care. Im sick of his lies and his attititude towards me. I know the mature thing to do would be discuss my problems with him with him (is that one too many with hims?), but i have a good idea of what he would say and do not want to hear it. Im not even going to mention my step-mother. Oh well, this will all be over soon.
On a positive note, i did get to see some good high school friends tonight i think i saw almost all of them that i want to see and feel ready to return to my girl. Screw presents for the holidays, i just want smashedpumpkin33. notice my use of the word holidays instead of christmas because if you do happen to run into my father or step-mom, feel free to remind them that im jewish (if for no other reason than the jokes) and that jews really dont believe in the whole "christ" thing. I dont want to pass judgement on anyones religous believes and i need the same sort of respect back. I think that might not be possible in the Bible belt (read: the Red states).

Or at least that's what have been told in the computer science dept.
It's a mighty fine operating system, and we use it because we are the smart ones. The ones who get it.
I once was Catholic, and therefore I am not religious at all now. I hate the holidays and all the shopping and crap that goes along with it. All the fake conversations between family members, all the holier than thou people, all the crowds. The only good thing is there's no school.
come back now, okay?
