Just got back from the Modest Mouse show... wow. They put on a real good show. All kinds of different instruments (guitar, piano, ibook, cello, violin, two sets of drums, etc.) hmm, some of those really aren't that unusual of instruments. i guess that reasoning for liking the show is gone.
well, The Walkmen also put on a good set. I think the venue was a little too big for them. Hopefully they will tour again on a small club tour so that completely rock out likes there is no tomorrow.
side note on the show: why are punk rock girls so good looking? its just not fair. Then get this: some even have the nerve to where a cute pair of glasses. i mean, when they do that, i am just helpless. i mean i would be if i were to actually talk to any of these girls. one day. oh one day.
bought my ticket for the SG burlesque show! i figure for the price, why not? i doubt i will be disappointed and at the very least i should be able to get some SG swag!

Good, awesome that you're gonna go to the show! Vancouver isn't a sketchy city, but I don't like to tempt fate. I'm not very big and couldn't kick a lot of ass on my own, you know? I've been mugged twice here in the lovely GVRD and Im not up for it again. I'm really starting to like modest mouse...I'll have to see them if they head my way.
