Just came over from Robin and a vampire movie night. He is the biggest guy in the group, that is counting pec size. He's some years younger than me, and that's a fucking shame because otherwise he is sweet and cute and got those broad shoulders I could kill to get my hands on. He's got a girlfriend already though, and I actually quite thankful about that.
I had this weird dream about him first week we were out in the field. We had gotten the wind shield up and had crawled up everybody together. I had ended up beside him, and he offered me a bit of his jacket to keep me warm. We lay chatting for a while before I started drifting off to sleep. I was surprised when I thought I felt his hand around my chin. Being half asleep and wanting to stay that way I assumed he had good reason to hold it there, and was hastily ripped out of my sleep when I suddenly felt his lips being softly pressed against mine.
It was a bad idea, and I knew it. To prevent things from going further down the slide I sat up, as if woken by a bad dream or a mosquito, drowsily shaking my head while trying to get a grip on what had just happened. Then I lay back down again. He had his arm on my shoulder and I could see the question in his eyes.
"I don't think this is a good idea," I silently said as I closed my eyes and got back into my sleeping position. He looked down for a moment, and then he nodded.
"You don't shit where you eat."
"Exactly."
And then the conversation drifted into something which I have concluded really was a dream, a weird conversations about horror movies which he, when I cautiously asked the next morning, had no memory of whatsoever.
The dream was so realistic that it was hard to dismiss, yet so absurd that it in the same time was very hard to believe. It felt strange to look him in the eyes the next morning. The good thing this brought on, however, was the discussion that followed about horror movies which eventually brought me here, just back from watching 30 days of night with one of the great guys I am so glad to have around.
It is the warmth of another person close to you and it is friendship and it smells real good.

gotta love those crazy dreams that seem so damn real, yet really did not take place, haven't had one work out like that though, bet that was some fun awkwardness but at least you have a horror movie friend now, that's always nice
