It's been a long time now.
I've settled down pretty well in Cork by now. The fligths went well, I arrived in Cork twelve exhausting hours after I got up, and was welcomed by hugs and beer and having been forgotten by my employers and left to do the education pretty much on my own.
Despite this things could have been much worse. Kristina, the friend I am staying with, is a pearl. It is amazing how well we get along considering we were introduced by a guy we were both into at the time. I love her. She is awesome. The other new guy is swell as well, Johan. We were both new at this place, and we hit off from the start and have been bantering from the start, up until the point that everybody at work now thinks we're a couple. This is however far from the truth. I am just glad I've gotten a friend who I can rely on. I always manage to make out with my buddies and mess things up. I'm just glad this hasn't gone this way. Francly I'm not that attracted to him, I'm just glad to have him as my friend.
The best part of this is how great the job is. I hardly know what to say most of the time, but as it turns out with me, Kristina, Johan and another girl named Maria living under the same roof we make the entire Swedish line, and knowing eachother this well makes a great team to work with. We don't get that many calls, and the rest of the time we spend banter, joking, talking and playing mahjong online.
I've become the master of mahjong in less than two weeks.
The only downside of this is that I miss Jrgen terribly. Things would be awesome if he was here. Instead I am getting more and more frustrated and I think that one day I will get myself some sort of outlet for this. Probably something broad-shouldered. Anything broad-shouldered. And with a decent jaw line. And eyebrows.
(If there isn't such a word in the English language as broad-shouldered, there is now. You need it anyway. )
What I also need is to get started exercising. This Irish food is hardly the best thing God gave the digestive system. That is the good part of not having any money. I am getting slimmer by the day.
EDIT:
I just went out to go to the bathroom and noticed that Kristina had put up a drawing of me on my door. It even looks like me. Did I mention that I love her?
EDIT 2:
It's my birthday on Monday. The only thing I plan on getting for myself as a birthday present is a pair of Aspen pyjama pants. I've wanted a pair for ages and they're running out of them by now. I'm crossing my fingers that they will still have a pair left by then. Otherways I'll have to spend my birthday in tears.

I was at a place called O'Reagan's last night and a crew of I don't know what's strolled in and sidled up to the bar and ordered. A few minutes later, I'm thinking of you and wishing we could connect at that moment because these blokes? they were from Cork.
I was like, "TAKE ME BACK WITH YOU!!"
And yes, you can say "broad-shouldered" it's a good compound word.
My shoulders are quite broad, I think... can I put in an application?
All right, my darling. I hope to hear from you again soon!
