I'm so thankful that my dog Jackson (Black Lab, 11 years-old) is done with his surgery!!! He is not out of the woods just yet but he is resting soundly (meds) at the hospital.
50 weeks ago--We were visiting my 'rents at their Canada home when Jackson decided to help himself to my 'rents' dogs chew toys. He ate the fuzzy yellow fluffy bone in moments...
what does the vet find in his stomach after all this time?
Same damned chew toy!
He puked up some other garment monday night to start this process and vomitted several times more. My living room, hall and kitchen looked like a puke-filled mine-field.
Anyways, I'm very thankful he is still in my life... just not looking forward to the Vet's bill. I love him very much.

That's a bit of a scary deal you went through with your pooch - we're lucky that our dog is more of a destroyer than an eater - he's more likely to shred/demolish things and leave their remnants strewn about the house than swallow anything dangerous.
Jackson? Somehow, I thought you would have named your dog "Orange"
