Hello.
I had a another physio appointment today and it looks to be my last for a while because they've given me the all clear. Its taken three months to get me officially off of the inured list but I am off.The shoulder is still very weak and the rebuilding process is going to take some time aswell. If you want to get a hold of me I'll be in the gym for the next couple of weeks with all those meatheads in their dodgy multicoloured training outfits that look 5 sizes to small and keeping out of their way just incase I get growled at because they've taken to many roids that week.
All season Ive been looking forward to this time "The off season" so I could get away for a couple of weeks and just chill out.But now Im here all I can think about is getting back into it.I need to start training before anyone else because Ive got some catching up to do because of the shoulder.Every year in January we go on a 2 week tour of the U.S. there are two 3 day tournaments back to back, one in Tampa and the other in Alabama and if I want to hit the floor running in those tournaments I really need to put the time in now.
Its human nature to want what you havent got,and once you've got it to want something more or extra.THE GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER ON THE OTHERSIDE.I wanted time off and Ive had some,I didnt get away but Im rested and more than that Im bored.I would still like to get away but I want to train more, some times Im so one dimensional TRAIN EAT SLEEP TRAIN EAT SLEEP its not in me to sit around doing fuck all.Doing nothing has its place in my life, but all the time eats away at me from the inside outwards and I will go insane,Im just not made that way Ive got to have a goal,a focus, something to do and some reason for doing it.
This post has taken off on a bit of a mad rant hasnt it.It just happened like that.It was going to be one of my usual shallow posts that dont really have anything to say and go on for quite a while without actually any insight into my life,ah well its done now.
Ive just read back what ive written"hit the floor running"if you know me and what I am and do thats probably not the best analogy Ive ever used is it.
