My truck is still new enough to be under warranty. SO I figured why not take it in for a few repairs. I mean there's nothing seriously wrong but it's covered. List of repairs.
1. one of my two batteries is leaking.
2. Saw some fluid around the master cylinder.
3. Oil stains around differential cover.
4. clock resets for no reason, but the radio pre sets don't.
So I drive in this morning and the service adviser asks me to show him the problem areas. He tells me the oil seeping around the differential gasket is "Just the way things are" . I've worked on cars a lot, and that's sort of true. But the truck only has 25000 on it. And I didn't like the attitude. I showed him the battery and we both agreed on that at least. He said he would have someone look at the master cylinder. But when I explained about the clock he shrugged it off and said it most likely is from the battery problem. But I just don't see how that can be. If it was loosing power Id loose my radio presets too I would think. We'll see what happens when I pick the truck up.
