I'm pretty much finished with my book shelf inspired by the restricted section at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. All It need is a clear coat but there is to much ash floating around from the wild fires to do it.



I watched the first movie again to get an idea of the right size metal mesh used on the restricted section doors. The really bad book were chained on a tether. But I wasn't about to do that.



I had to visit a lock smith to get the old style skeleton key lock and drill a hole for it to clear. This is my first wood working project so I think it came out ok.
