well i had a pretty good new year even though i did not go to the cabin with Oninotaki. I went to detroit to game as i often so saturday afternoon but my ride from there to lansing backed out
but being the best friend he is my budddy chris came and got me with his wife jill and kids in tow as they had to come over my way anyways to see her mother.
we hit rainforest cafe and had dinner then went back to lansing. it was a pretty lazy weekend. jill found a sitter for the kids and while chris and i went to get lots of alchohol for new years she took a nap.
chirs old coworker missy came over with her husband and we drank ourselves silly

after the eveining wound down i sat there for a bit on the couch and had a mini breakdown. i have been feeling very overwhelmed and alone as of late. i miss my mom and i am finding it very hard being single. it seems as if i the mark i have set for a girlfriend is high ( the woman they are being measured against is quit a gal).

regardless i had a nice sob session and chirs and i talked about shit so i coudl vent for a couple hours ( thats right ladies manly men like myself talk about there feelings with other guys )

i am home now and i hope this week is a nice new begining we will see what this year will hold
