The light and the dark; each an opposing force.

Good and bad, aggressive and passive, law and discourse.

The light belonged to god, where everything was good,

And the dark had no rules, and destroyed everything it could.

But an angel of light tried to destroy heaven's border,

And a devil of darkness wanted to establish order.

The angel rebelled and started a war with God,

But the devil made a deal that would overcome his odds.

At first, God was at a stalemate with the beast Lucifer,

Until God's "ally" came wielding evil that is pure.

God won the war, and in return gave the devil hell.

Who is this demon that rules the eternal jail cell?
