. Heres whats going on in the wonderful world of barry :
*My good friend and compadre Dave has joined the site , go say hello to him thelizardking . I have known this guy for about 20 of my 23 years and he's a thoroughly bloody nice chap .. and is here courtesy of barrys credit card

*Anyway the last few days have involved mass amounts of alcohol , good times and good people . The fun began friday afternoon with a leaving do for one of the girls at work who was going home to Canada after working here for a year . Its going to be a real shame to see her go , she was a real antidote to british miserablebastarditis .
So I had a 5 hour lunch break ..mass amounts of beer and absinthe shooters 
which made my tear ducts explode . I don't get how people can drink mass amounts of that stuff ...messes you up good and proper.
*Anyway I then left the work crowd and headed over to meet Kat and family , Dave and Chris for Kats birthday knees up . Which involved noodles , swilling wine outside on the green , seeing the system of a down bloke , lots of pub type fun , wet fish , taking over the jukebox for the night , no drinkie for Kat , breaking into a friends house , hangovers all round .
*Saturday we headed into town on very little sleep , ponced about the shops , complained we were tired alot and eventually headed over to the Bull and Gate to see Gin Panic who were as good as usual ..got to catch up with CreamyG , Lego and a few others from SGUK.
I probably missed out alot but good times were had by all.
*The Jesus and Mary Chain are an amazing band ... I have only just realised this ... I am very stupid .
*I saw I , Robot the other day which once it got all the product placement and naked will smith out the way in first few traumatising minutes turned out to be a rather enjoyable film.
*Got tickets to see Snow Patrol in november.
*The 24 season 3 boxset should be arriving at my house tommorow .. 7 discs of mad jack and elisha goodness
