The whole 20 questions/tag thing is overrated. My friends can share information as they please, I'd rather not call anyone out. And besides, 20 questions/facts? Please - I barely have half the attention span...
So here you go... Ten Things About Trilo
Potentially Immortal
As elfin can probably argue better than I can, there stands a possibility that I can't be killed by conventional methods. These methods include drowning, electrocution, falling, car crash, and most recently stabbing in addition to the whole broken heart thing.
Radioactive
Well, just the one time. I was young. It was an accident, I was playing with some stuff in a lab in Tennessee...
Shot At
I was actually shot successfully in the head, right between the eyes in fact, by a good friend while playing guns with steel bb-guns as a kid. Of course we weren't wearing safety goggles or anything like that. My reaction? I was totally pissed off and charged my poor friend Chris, and emptied the contents of my bb-gun into both his ass-cheeks for having shot at me. I was unsuccessfully shot at by some random fucker on Devil's Night when I was 15. We were soaping the windows at his house - very minor delinquent behavior - and the guy came out of his house with a shotgun. We avoided major injury and/or death by getting behind a dumpster in the alley, I can still hear the sound of the shot ricocheting off the dumpster seconds before we got behind it. Needless to say, once he went back into his house we broke every window in his house.
Tongue Fetish
I'm strangely curious/fascinated by how things would taste. No, not nasty or obviously germtastic stuff.... but things. I've licked/sampled stuff like The Empire State Building, 2 pyramids, a few castles, the Statue Of Liberty, a 4000 year old tomb in Ireland, a number of parking meters in places like Hollywood Dublin and NYC, the grand canyon, a moon rock, and several very interesting people.
Fond Of Tigers
Yep. They've been my favorite animal for as long as I can remember. My first stuffed animal was a blue teddy bear from a circus which I promptly got sick all over. It was replaced by a stuffed tiger, and ever since that's just been my animal of choice. I spent 3 days at a zoo once (going back each day) just studying them...
Grow-er
Not a show-er.
Musical Trilo
Music is my addiction - everything else in my life has proven so far to be a diversion. For most of the 80's I was one of the foremost alternative/new-wave DJ's in the mid-west. I stopped playing out around 1989, though still kept up mixing etc. I'm in the process now of getting myself ready to play out again in the near future. I also used to play bass, do some synthesizer and programming work, and sing in a few different bands as well as do the songwriting thing. I've also done produced and engineered some things here and there, as well as written a few tracks here and there. I've got some ideas, and will hopefully move forward with them (or at least the good ones) soon enough.
Lover
I've been in three significant relationships so far in my life. The last ended about three years ago, and utterly destroyed me. I've since recovered, and I've since dated here and there. Some bad experiences in 2004 made me a bit wary of being so open, but in general I still believe in love and all the wonderful things connected to it. While I've suffered great heartache in my life I've known the most incredible joy, and despite what I may say I do believe there is even more incredible joy than that out there just waiting to be discovered.
Fighter
Well, former fighter. As a kid I moved around a lot, and at an early age I got into a lot of fights (new kids are favorite targets for bullies). I refused to be a victim, and instead I victimized. By age 8 I was in the mental space where I looked forward to the eventual fight with the bully, it became a vicious cycle that got progressively worse and worse and did not end for me until I was 16. Out of hundreds of fights, I lost only two. One in which three people jumped me, and another where my brother hit me in the face with a brick. I'm not bragging here - I'm an absolutely horrible person who did some extremely terrible things to people, and I'll probably be spending the rest of my life repaying that karmic debt.
Loyalist
I had a relatively fucked-up childhood, which more or less left me with an unconventional sense of family. I don't actually like most of the people I'm related to. My closest friends, I consider to be my family. It generally takes some work to reach that level, but once there I'm extremely loyal to my friends, and will often do ridiculous things to support or help them if I can. However if something should shatter that loyalty and trust, they're not likely to ever get it back.
And so there you have it... clearly I am the perfect sum of all my flaws.

I like the "perfect sum of all my flaws." That is... perfect. Perfect is the only word I have.
Here are some explanations to the last comment you left me, or bomb rather.
"I'm curious about the seniorness... did you get a late start on school, or was there some kind of shell game played with the age/birthdate thing when you signed up?"
I think I've mentioned this before, but I went to preschool for two years. THEN, I went to kindergarten. I was held back in the younger years because my grandparents on my mother's side thought I would be "slow" if I started the same time as the rest of the children. I am probably one of the oldest people in my class.
"As far as media class, I'm curious to hear where you're going with that. When you're through - write and let me know what songs made it into the blender..."
Media class is a big thing. It's everything media related. We cover audio and video production, web design, journalism, photography, public speaking, career-oriented skills... uh... other stuff I can't think of now. The mix is purely Nine Inch Nails. When it's done, I can send it to you for a listen sometime when you're online.
"The reclusive loner type who doesn't connect to many people, and gets romantically involved with women so much younger. I know you're smart, and I know you're strong. And I don't know that situation so I could be a thousand miles away from being right about anything. But be careful."
Actually, I don't think he wanted to ever get involved friendship-wise with me. I pretty much pursued him. I wrote to him and told him I liked him. I'm sure he probably had already heard that from others or guessed it on his own, but he told me once upon a time that I was too young for him. But once I gave him the birthday card with my confession, he decided that he wanted to start spending time with me. So, who knows? I went to his apartment last night and he made no move to get close to me. At all. He didn't even want to sit on the couch with me. This is another extreme that actually upsets me. I have no idea. I think he seems reclusive on the exterior. I think I could possibly be reading him wrong.
And other than that... I don't mind the long comments. I appreciate your concerns/suggestions/etc. It's good to know that someone cares. I always appreciate your wisdoms and insights.
